5 Best Night Clubs To Visit In Goa

Goa is every party lover’s heaven. From indoor parties at nightclubs to outdoor raves at beaches, Goa has it all. The smallest state in the country can rightly be called its party capital. It has everything you could hope for in a hip party destination and even more. This place can move you to its rhythm and make your heart thump on its beats.

One of the best things about Goa is its laid-back vibe; here no one really bothers about what you do as long as you don’t cause any problems for the others. This means you can do and wear whatever you like here, unlike most other places in the country. So, for the next time you want to party hard here is a list of the top five nightclubs you should visit:

1. Curlies

From its humble beginnings as a small shack at the Arjuna Beach, Curlies has expanded to become one of the hippest party destinations in the town. This shack has two restaurants, an indoor club, a huge dance floor, and bars.

The place can be a little difficult to find, but you will not regret the effort once you find it. Curlies has a remarkable range of alcohol at its well-stocked bars and it seems like nothing ever runs out. The crowd is great here, and so is the music. The upper floor has the dancing area where late night parties are the norm. If you want to visit a great place to party all night, Curlies is a great option. Club Love Passion Karma is situated at the waterfront in Nerul in Candolim. This place has exquisite architecture with designs that look like stone carvings in caves. The indoor dance floor is sculpted and is large enough for a huge number of people.

The area is divided into two sections, the indoor club and the outdoor waterfront where people can sit and enjoy the stunning lake. This place is perfect whether you want to get a couple of drinks or to spend the night dancing.

3. Club Cubana

Club Cubana is situated on a hilltop which makes the climb rather difficult. But once you enter this club, everything seems worth it. There are fluorescent lights all around giving the place an electric buzz. The dance floor is lit in neon and the place boasts a Jacuzzi and a large pool. There are so many things one can indulge in, while on a trip to Goa:

The best part about the club is the architecture, the landscaping is done in three floors and all these floors have open air bars that remain open all-night long. The club hosts a Ladies Night every Wednesday when drinks and entry for women are free.

4. Kamaki

A night club with a Greek twist, Club Kamaki offers great seating, food, and party space. Not far from the Baga beach strip, Kamaki is one of the best places to be at in North Goa. The club is divided into two sections, outside is the seating and drinks area while inside there are pool tables and a good dancing space.

Top 7 Phenomenal Islands In India

I’m sure the phrase is pretty popular- no man can live as an island. While that is certainly true, it never did the modern man any harm to travel to one and count on total rejuvenation on vacation every once in a while. While the idea of Robinson Crusoe is never too appealing, island tourism in India is seeing a boom and rightly so, courtesy the tranquillity of seclusion, breath-taking global-standard beauty and the exotic feel common to dreams. Hence, let’s put on the fancy scuba gear and get exploring these little oases of peace.

  1. The Lakshadweep Islands

Photo by Lenish Namath, CC BY-SA 3.0

Look at a picture of this gorgeous island, you’ll know what I am talking about. A group of small islands, named “the group of one lakh islands”, it features corals Australia is so famous in Lakshadweep. Also, it has quirky tourism implements, like lighthouses.

  1. Havelock Island

Named after a foreigner seems to be a feature very common in these parts of India-this one was named for Henry Havelock. One more common feature of islands look like lighthouses, and Havelock one has one too. It has a beach which is acknowledged to be the best in India by Time magazine, and belongs to an archipelago that shares its name with Richie Rich, only a different spelling-Ritchie’s archipelago.

  1. Great Nicobar Island

This island has the largest size among its kind in India. It has a turbulent point in its history, the 2004 Tsunami that caused much destruction. It has exotic reptile and avian species indigenous to it, and-you guessed it-lighthouses. It has a host of rivers that flow along its general topography.

  1. Little Andaman Island

Photo (Cropped) by Sankara Subramanian, CC BY 2.0

For the traveller who is going off the beaten track, literally, is waiting this island. Not too crowded and not too expensive as well, this is the beatnik tourist’s dream come true. It features exotic avian and turtle species, and offers safaris a la Africa, and boat voyages a la Mauritius. Best of both worlds, did I hear someone at the back say?

  1. Barren Island

Photo by Arijayprasad, CC BY-SA 4.0

This is one island that is more boho than the last. Let’s find out why. It is akin to the Vesuvius, being the only volcano that actually erupts in South Asia. Also, it offers Scuba Diving opportunities to tourists. It is a lot like the Dead Sea, with the almost non-existent life that it supports. That’s where it gets its name from, as well.

  1. Viper Island

Photo (Cropped) by Snap, CC BY 2.0

It sure seems like places have stories that prove how truth is stranger than fiction. True to the world of adventure and horror stories, this island was named after a ship that carried Lt. Blair to India. It is a pretty island, and a jetty for tourists visiting Andaman. But what the guides won’t tell you is that this place used to have gallows, now abandoned, which was used to contain and torture Indian political prisoners of the British Raj. And oh, it has some viper species as well.

  1. Rutland Island

Photo by scheherezade, CC BY-SA 2.0

Individuals with interest in Victorian English literature will know about the treatment meted out to the racial “other”. This island provides real-time opportunity for learning about some “others”- The Jangil tribe, natives to the Andamans, who were few and far in between in terms of interactions with people from the outer world, but present nonetheless. Also, this island has a number of beaches in Andaman along with the opportunities for open-water divers.

It is sometimes strange how things exceedingly relevant to one discipline are completely out of the vista of another. One sees how islands, very important in political power establishment, was taken little note of in tourism, especially in the Indian context. It’s good to see that changing, and Lakshadweep is now the first destination many couples would like to explore on honeymoon tour to India. Indeed, with scuba diving, exotic fauna and world class thriller histories, islands shouldn’t be something people miss out on the flavour of.

Prior registrations and some planning are really important to book your seats.

Find out what to see and what to do at NAINITAL

I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful Nainital  last year in August. The weather was too good and less tourists were there as it was off-season. It was my third trip to Nainital but i simply love this place & can visit this hill station as many times as i can. I love to roam around the very beautiful “Mall Road” in Nainital. You can find a lot of interesting activities there like good stuff to shop,  good street food, some temples & of course boating etc.

So here is the list of the must-visit places in Nainital:

(which i personally recommend)

Naini Lake is located in the heart of the city and this attractive lake is the reason that Nainital earned its name. This eye-shaped lake is a tourist empyrean and acts as a magnet for all those visiting this alluring hill station.

2. Nakuchia Lake

Nakuchia Tal is a lake known for having nine corners. This lake has maintained its serenity till date as it is still untouched by the majority of the tourist population. I would really recommend this place to all those who are looking for some peaceful time with their Family or Friends.

3. Snow View Point

This point is located at a height of 2,260 m and is among the coldest regions in Nainital. I visited in summers so missed the beautiful scene. (My bad)

4. Hanuman Temple Naukuchiatal

This hanuman temple is located near Naukuchiata ,is 52 feet tall, surrounded by mountains and valley. The main attraction, comprises , staying place for devotees, the meditation room, Ram Darbar temple, and the Shani Temple. I truly loved this temple.

What are the things to do at Nainital & Nearby Areas?

Here is the list of recreational activities that a tourist can enjoy at Nainital:

1. Boating and Yachting

Naini Lake & Nakuchia lake provides the tourist a perfect opportunity to enjoy yachting and boating. One can experience the nature’s splendor while enjoying the boat expedition in the Naini Lake.

2. Trekking

Being a hilly place, Nainital presents its tourists with a large number of trekking choices, amidst the charming beauty of nature. The popular trails include Nainital Binayak Trek, Nainital Betalghat Trek, Nainital Kilbury Trek, Nainital Kunjkharak Trek, Nainital Kainchi Trek, and Snow View Trek. Do not miss this if you going to Nainiital.

3. Nature Walks

This is something i love. When in Nainital hill station, one should not miss out the chance of going on a nature walk.

4. Water Zorbing

One of my favorite activities ZORBING. This adventure sport is fun, exciting, thrilling as well as highly entertaining to the participants as well as the onlookers

Have fun as you bounce and float in the exciting sport of water zorbing.

As Nainital is among the most popular hill stations in the country, it is better to book the rooms in advance if a person is planning to celebrate the holidays in Nainital. One can do the booking online as well with some good offers.

How to Reach Nainital?

By Air: Pantnagar (70 km).
By Road: A widespread network of roads connects Nainital with major cities like Delhi (310 km), Dehradun (300 km) and Haldwani (40 km).
By Rail: Kathgodam (35 km) is the nearby railway station of Nainital.
I feel if a person is dying to flee from the daily grinds of life, then he or she should take time off to travel this spell-binding hill station!

Never stop exploring, dreaming and discovering….
